A Study on Genesis:

For a lot of us, the first few chapters of Genesis have mostly  been preached or taught through the lenses of the creation/evolution and gender role debates with the unintended consequence of filtering out much of what the stories are trying to communicate about the love of God, the inherent worth of humanity, and the significance of the material world. In our current Sunday School series we’re seeking a more expansive view of the profound truths of Genesis 1-11 by locating  these chapters in their own Ancient Near Eastern context so that we can make faithful, life-giving connections with our own.
