A Study on Exodus:

There’s a lot to be found in this second book of the Bible that defines God’s people and reveals His goodness to us in a before and after sense. It echoes back to the beginnings in Genesis. It looks ahead to the complicated history of the nation of Israel. More than that, it looks ahead to Jesus, “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” Our own baptism flashes back to the path through the sea – God’s rescue of us even as He rescued ancient Israel. In so many ways, there is the story of God’s people before the Exodus and after the Exodus.
