A Holy Lent.

“I invite you, therefore, in the name of the Church, to the observance of a holy Lent: by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and alms-giving; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word.”

-The Book of Common Prayer, “Ash Wednesday”

Lent is a season in which Christians have historically devoted themselves to the spiritual disciplines: fasting, prayer, self denial, sacrificial giving, and repentance. But amidst the busyness of our lives, it’s possible for the time between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday to pass without much significance.

If you’re interested in deliberately cultivating a prayerful posture during the 40 days of Lent, we invite you to sign up for our Lent microgroups. Each week, you’ll meet online with others looking to walk in step with the spirit of this season, and to cultivate the ancient spiritual disciplines. We’ll also be hosting a silent retreat at the Benedictine Monastery of St. Leo in Dade City halfway through for an additional time of stillness and reflection.

Register for a Lent Group here (if you’re already a part of the Clark or Lee Table Group, they will be going through this curriculum, so no need to re-register)
